150 Waste Pickers in Klender Receive Vaccination Service

Total 150 residents who work as waste picker were vaccinated on Jl. Inpres Blok J RT 009/010 Klender Urban Village, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, on Saturday (9/11). This mobile vaccination service was provided through collaboration between Jakarta Government with PT. Unilever.

East Jakarta Secretary Assistant for Public Welfare, Ahmad Salahudin said, this mobile vaccination service was held in a day which involved elements in health center, Social Sub-agency, Dukcapil Sub-agency, and local urban village and sub-district apparatuses.

"Mobile vaccination service is carried out through collaboration between Jakarta Government and PT. Unilever," he mentioned.

126,048 Tebet Sub-district Residents Have Been Injected with First Dose Vaccine

In this service, PT. Unilever deployed 6 health workers assisted by team from sub-district health center, PKK, Dasawisma cadres to assist in inputting data, registration, and administration.

"Vaccination location is close to used goods sheter and many waste pickers who live nearby," he added.

East Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Purwono stated, his side had prepared 150 food boxes and mineral water for people who participated in this vaccination service.

"We provide ready-to-eat meals for vaccination participants. While PT. Unilever prepares the personnel," he closed.
